Interview series: Session 2

Here is session 2 of my interview series. This week we will focus our attention on a guy most of us think we know...but like all superheros, often we do not see the obvious clues of an alter-ego. We all have a special appreciation of our dear friend Jason Kelley. Not only is he a brave and intimidating cop, but he's a great pal to many, fantastic roommate to Chad, and super husband to Bethany. He often dominates the football and ultimate frisbee fields, even though we know he plays down his super strength and speed to try and fool us all. When he is not killing terrorists or fighting zombies...this is what plagues his mind. The gig is up, Jason, we know your secret.

Katie: Which lollipop flavor do you prefer?
Jason:
Ummm...As in "dum-dums"? Probably rootbeer.

Katie: What would you say is your most prized possession?
Jason:
Other than Bethany, or George? Probably my Avengers #4 Comic book, you know, the one that brought Captain America back.

Katie: Your favorite and least favorite words:
Jason:
Favorite word: hero: I suppose because it is associated with comics and it solves conflicts
Least favorite: conflict: because it causes drama and its what heroes fight.

Katie: If you were to deem yourself a fictional or historical character, who would you be and why?
Jason:
Can I answer with Captain America? Okay, him. Is that lame?

Katie:
What was your favorite toy/or game to play as a child?
Jason:
I really liked legos a lot. Especially the Robin Hood set!

Katie:
Have you ever met or seen anyone famous? Who? Where? (X-Ray vision excluded)
Jason:
I was hoping not to go there, but I've seen Buff Bagwell (the 1990's wrestler). Also, Sonny Purdue was in our Sunday School class. But I didn't get to tell him my "sonny-do" list...

Katie: And the question I've decided to ask everyone...Are you planning to bring sexy back?
Jason:.
(Laughing, he sheepishly responded:) No...but if it happens, it happens.
